| The Teacher Training Program Was Concluded |

10 Days Teacher Training Program for 210 Teachers from 37 ARF Schools in Southern and Central Regions of Somalia was Concluded at Mogadishu University Campus. The training was organized by African Relief Fund (ARF) in cooperation with the Faculty of Education of Mogadishu University. During the training program, the participants were given lectures about education skills to upgrade their teaching skills. The trainees were summered from 37 schools in the southern and central regions of the country. One of the participants from Imam Shafi’i Primary & Intermediate School located in Dhobley – Lower Juba region noticed that the training was very important and useful and encouraged the ARF education department to continue holding trainings and seminars like this.
On the other hand, ARF Country Director, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Berey briefed the main tasks of ARF such as education, assisting people inflicted by droughts, constructing schools, drilling wells. He also added that ARF wishes in the near future to implement programs to help IDPs and health activities. More Photos Below |
