ARF Starts the Construction Works of Al-Imam Al-Nawawi Primary School in Wanla-Wayn District

Considering the importance of education in social development, ARF gives special consideration the improvement of education. ARF manages more than 60 schools in Somalia. Most of these schools are working in rent buildings, so that the construction of schools is in the priority of list of ARF education development strategy in Somalia.

Currently ARF in cooperation with Zamzam Foundation in Somalia implements the construction works of Al-Imam Al-Nawawi Primary School in Wanla-Wayn - Lower Shabelle.

The new building of the school consists the following:

1. Six classes

2. Two offices

3. Seven Toilets

4. Mosque

5. Exercise field

The school has a capacity of hosting more than 600 students in two shifts.

In the coming school year 2006/2007, the school will start its class works in the new building.
